Tree Solutions Houston is a Houston-area tree care business built around a simple idea: understand the property first, explain the options clearly, and do the work the situation actually calls for.
Founder Daniel Mercer grew up around southeast Texas and spent much of his early working life outdoors. He started in landscape maintenance, where tree problems often became the jobs that demanded the most thought. A damaged limb over a roof could not be handled like routine yard work, and a tree planted too close to a building could become a much larger problem years later. Daniel moved into dedicated tree crews and became especially interested in planning removals and pruning around the homes, fences, pools, and dense landscapes common across the Houston area.
After years of seeing homeowners struggle to get straightforward answers about their trees, Daniel started Tree Solutions Houston. He wanted the company to focus on the decision before the equipment comes out: What is actually wrong with the tree? What does the owner need from the property? Can the tree reasonably stay? If it needs to come down, what is the safest practical way to work around everything nearby?
That approach still guides the company. Daniel works with crew lead Miguel Alvarez and tree-care coordinator Hannah Reed, and the three share a practical view of the trade. Houston trees live with intense heat, heavy rain, strong storms, compacted residential soils, changing landscapes, and rapid development. Good tree work means understanding those conditions while treating each property as its own job.
We focus on Tree Removal, Stump Removal, Arborist, Tree Planting, Tree Fertilization, and Tree Pruning. Each service has its own page so you can see exactly what is involved before you call.
We are based around Houston, TX and serve Texas, including Conroe, Tomball, Humble, Kingwood, Sugar Land, Spring, Klein, League City, Clear Lake, Cypress, Katy, Pearland, Aldine, Rosenberg, and Cinco Ranch.
We begin with what the property owner is trying to accomplish. Sometimes that means removal, and sometimes it means pruning, monitoring, planting, or another form of care.
Tree care can become technical quickly. We prefer plain explanations about what we observe, what we recommend, and what the work is meant to achieve.
A tree is surrounded by lawns, gardens, homes, fences, driveways, pools, and neighboring spaces. Those surroundings are part of the job, not an afterthought.
Removal, pruning, planting, and fertilization all influence how a property develops. When possible, we help owners make choices that will still make sense years from now.
